Club Races & Cruising in February!

It's February now and the temperature has dropped. I wonder if there are fewer participants in club races?

I thought so, but 22 boats showed up! Everyone is in good spirits.

This is what a sailor should be like! No, no, many people take the winter off, so it's best to enjoy it at your own pace.

The children are fired up with fighting spirit, saying they will not lose to the adults!

Race explanation at the club entrance.

Because it's cold, we decided not to start after 1pm.

After the race, a hot bowl of pork soup awaits you!

There was a light breeze in both races. This allowed the RSaero7 to pull away from the other boats.

From the third race onwards, the wind of hope started to blow, making for perfect sailing weather!

We had 4 races on the short course!

T, an alumnus of the yacht club, has gotten used to single-handed sailing and came in second overall!

The overall winner was high school student K! He is also active in Sea Hopper.

He looked like he was enjoying the speed in the aero7.

The young people have grown up so quickly! Congratulations to K-kun!!

Let's do our best as adults too!

The March club race is on Sunday, March 12th.

And Sunday, everyone who went on a cruise.

It feels like a holiday for adults!

We set sail in the afternoon, cruised out to the waters off Isshiki, and returned.

The weather was nice and it was a pleasant cruise!

Winter cruising is a little chilly and the sea is blue.

It's great if the weather is clear and you don't have to worry about the noise around you.

The next cruise is Thursday, February 23rd!

It's a half-day event, so even first-timers are welcome to join.
