This new boat was manufactured as a culmination of our experience in manufacturing over 1,000 North Shore boats such as Shoreline and original boats such as Sedona.

Despite its compact size suited to the Japanese physique, it is stable and fast even in windy and wavy conditions, making it suitable for not only medium-distance touring but also kayak racing.

The size and type of kayak will vary depending on how you plan to enjoy it. Many Japanese people find it difficult to take long vacations. However, Japan has a diverse sea nearby, making it possible to enjoy very fulfilling touring depending on the conditions. This is a boat that is easy to use and close to home, and is sized with medium-distance touring or short camping in mind.

2. Boats tailored to the Japanese physique

Taking advantage of the advantages of being a Japanese-made boat, the size was designed with the average weight of Japanese people in mind from the design stage. The slightly shorter overall length of 4.56m makes it easy for women to handle, and the nearly flat center bottom ensures primary stability that even beginners and heavier riders can rely on. While it is preferred by veteran kayakers and professional guides, the large coaming size and easy roll design make it easy to ride as well, making it an easy boat for intermediate kayakers to level up.

3. Boats suited to Japanese sea conditions

The bow shape, which takes into consideration the waves in the waters around Japan and the wave-cutting seen on ocean-going Japanese boats, makes it less susceptible to being hit by waves, and its moderate length, keel depth and balance allow it to move freely even in the triangular waves of the currents, which vary from cape to cape.

Many sea kayakers struggle with transporting their boats by car and storing them at home. A boat that's too long, too large, or too heavy can make even heading out a daunting prospect. The overall length is under 4.70m, ensuring it doesn't extend too far beyond the length of most private cars. High-grade FRP is used for the material, achieving lightweight construction without sacrificing strength or lifespan. A three-section model is also available for indoor storage, even for apartment dwellers, and the boat can be moved via elevator. The ultra-lightweight Kevlar carbon model weighs in at around 15kg, making it easy for women and seniors to carry. The three-section model can be set out on the water immediately by simply tightening the screws. At just 17kg, it's easy even for beginners.
