For people with 20 or more days of sea kayaking experience, or who have joined about 5 tours after the Basic Course

If sea kayaking has become fun and you would like to join tours in places with somewhat harder sea conditions, please join the Skill-up Touring Course.

Goals: 1. Acquire the paddling skills to join tours in more difficult areas such as Kenzaki and Kannonzaki
2. Be able to predict the sea conditions yourself and paddle easier routes on your own

Single session (half day)

Regular price (tax included): ¥11,500

Member price (tax included):
Private: ¥4,400 (boarding fee extra)
Group: ¥2,200 (boarding fee extra)

* You can join one session at a time, but for those who want to join more difficult tours, we recommend taking 5 or more sessions.

[Preparation]
Preparing the equipment needed for touring, and safety checks of the kayak

[Paddling techniques]
Forward stroke, sweep stroke, stern draw, side slip, launching and landing that work even in difficult areas

[Knowledge]
Finding a safe route to suit the weather and sea conditions

Time schedule

(Morning session)
09:30 Check in, change, and prepare your kayak
10:00 Confirm the route and precautions (clothing, weather, terrain, etc.), then launch
12:00 Back ashore

(Afternoon session)
12:45 Check in, change, and prepare your kayak
13:15 Confirm the route and precautions (clothing, weather, terrain, etc.), then launch
15:15 Back ashore

- You can apply from 1 person.
- Please tell us about your kayaking experience. (Where and how much do you paddle? Have you learned self-rescue?)
