RS GAMES Spring Championship 2 was held!

On Sunday, June 11th, the RS GAMES Spring Championship 2 was held off the coast of Morito Beach in Hayama.

19 boats participated. This time, RSaero from Shizuoka,

There was also participation from the RS500 from Chiba.

Strong winds were forecast for the last Spring Championship, but this time the forecast was for light winds and rain.

The people running the race must be under a lot of stress!

The skippers' meeting was held at the HSC Club due to rain.

To all the RS Association Race Officer Team members, we look forward to your continued support.

Mr. N from Shimizu Sailing Association has been winning again and again! He participated this time with RSaero7.

By the time we set sail, the wind had picked up, but the direction of the wind was unstable.

The start had to be restarted, but everyone was ready and started at the same time.

The course is short to accommodate the light winds, so the race will be a close one!

Mr. S's RS500 team came from Chiba to participate!

Apparently, he hadn't been on a yacht during the coronavirus pandemic, so this is his first time sailing in a while.

This time, RSTera only had one boat, but we took on the challenge of a miler sail.

This was the first time for H and E from RSFeva to pair up! They practiced hard the day before and came out for the race.

Light winds from the north to east continued into the afternoon, allowing for three races to be held.

While waiting for the results to be announced, we had a pleasant snack break.

I wonder if the hungry kids were able to run a good race as they hoped?

And just like last time, the winner of the RS GAMES Spring Championship 2 was Mr. N from the Shimizu Yacht Association.

The race chairman, Mr. N, handed me the winning cube. Mr. N's winning streak continues.

I wonder how many he has? Anyway, congratulations on winning!
