Yay, we're entering the Silver Week! Even those who thought this had to keep an eye on the path of the large typhoon. The weather was nice on Saturday, and there were experiences and lessons, but there was no wind... You might have thought that sailing is slow...
There was also a practice session for the RS Championship, but the wind was weak.
We set out in the boat, thinking that even a light breeze is part of our practice!
Some kids are relaxing on the RSTera.
On Sunday, the typhoon started to have an impact and most of the schools were cancelled, but the elementary and junior high school students practiced energetically!
Some of the children were using RSFeva rigging for the first time, and they were trying hard to remember everything.
Now let's have a meeting and set sail! However, within an hour of setting out, we heard thunder, so we went back and had an early lunch. The wind was surprisingly good in the afternoon, so we were able to resume practice.
The beach was closed on Monday due to the strong influence of the typhoon. There were big waves at Morito Beach from the morning. I hope the weather improves in the second half of Silver Week.
