Sailing is fun even in the rain and strong winds

Rain and strong winds were forecast for Saturday, just like last week, but we had a strong wind school before the wind really started to pick up!

It had been pouring rain since morning, so we waited for the rain to subside before heading out to the beach.

I'm going out to sea.

We had five boats so we did a wild slalom race!

After returning home, we reflected on our training on land.

We were given an explanation of how much to pull the control line in strong winds, how to draft the sails, etc. Everyone was smiling and said it was so much fun!

I was hoping that the wind would die down a bit on Sunday, but whitecaps were already forming from the morning.

We all became a strong wind school!

The Basic 2 rider seemed to be getting used to it, and by the end he was able to ride alone!

amazing!!

Here, we invited friends to enjoy sailing.

It's perfect for taking guests on a ride this coming season.

The kids at the little junior club were having a hard time with the wind so we decided to go to the beach this week, but we were able to ride surprisingly well in a spot with less wind!

The girl who came to try sailing also had a smile on her face as she said that hiking out was fun!

Kids love hiking!

It's been raining a lot lately, but I'm hoping for clear skies in May.
