May is the best season for sailing!

It's a refreshing May! The ocean is refreshing and perfect for marine sports, but it's been raining a lot recently. Heavy rain and strong winds are forecast for Saturday, so we'll be taking a break from beach activities.

Hoping for tomorrow! So, although the weather had improved on Sunday, the waves were still high due to the strong winds from the previous day.

The waves were like this on the Morito Shrine side too!

To avoid being hit by side waves, go out quickly when there are no high waves coming.

Although the conditions were difficult with waves and no wind, the junior youth group still went out to sea!

All the upper elementary students have become completely able to ride single-handed!

We have new members who are middle school students, so it's a good opportunity to practice running together.

The younger children also took turns holding the tiller and worked hard!

Gradually you will get a feel for how to maneuver the boat.

Next time I'd like to do some race practice too!

The adults were practicing just as hard as the juniors!

A person who used to sail on a dinghy when he was a student came to try sailing.

Today the basic course school will be attempting to sail around the upper and lower marks!

Practice finding ley lines!

Come and enjoy the pleasant seaside scenery of Hayama in May!
