It was a busy weekend at Flotilla and Basic School!

It was a beautiful sunny and warm Saturday!

Today is the day for the flotilla (sailing in a group of boats) training, so let's all go ashore at Zaimokuza and enjoy lunch together!

Before setting off, check the direction of your destination with a compass.

There was also a Basic 4 school.

This time, we'll be focusing on laser practice. The wind is nice, so it looks like we'll be able to practice well!

Now, let's set off for Zaimokuza!

Meet near the red and green buoys off the coast of Zushi Marina.

There is shallow water on the land side of the buoy, so we will sail offshore. We are almost at our destination.

We arrived at Zaimokuza!

Before lunch, let's visit a nearby temple and see the cherry blossoms.

We went to Komyo-ji Temple, which is almost right in front of the beach!

The cherry blossoms were still in full bloom in the temple grounds!

Everyone has a lovely smile ^^

Now that you're hungry, let's prepare lunch.

Bake bread,

Today's main dish is "cabbage bombs" made by instructor D-chan.

Cutting up a whole cabbage stewed in tomatoes looks delicious!

I'll enjoy having this!

The members also brought some sweets, making for a very satisfying beach lunch.

Now that our stomachs are full, let's head back to Morito.

The wind still hadn't died down by the afternoon, and there were quite a few whitecaps around the entrance to Zushi Bay.

The wind was blowing at up to 10 meters per second at times, but we managed to get home safely!

The return trip was quick,

Thank you to everyone who participated!

Instead, it was cold and rainy on Sunday.

Let's do some exercises and head to the beach! But with the weather like this, the kids weren't really feeling motivated.

The forecast said that the wind would blow in from the south, but when it came time to set sail there was almost no wind...I hope that at least it won't rain!

The sea was calm, so even three little kids could ride.

The youth team also came out.

The boat speed is different between Laser RNB and Radial, but it is a follower leader while maintaining control.

Juniors, come along on the boat!

The conditions were chilly and windy, but the kids still wanted to practice!

In the afternoon, everyone was practicing hard at the Aero and Laser schools.

You can still enjoy the sea freely, so even if it's been a while, please come and visit us.
