Sailing in the north wind is a little difficult

This year, even in September, the weather was still midsummer with summer breezes, but this weekend we finally saw a northeasterly wind that felt more autumnal.

It was a northeasterly wind for the first time in a while, and with some sway and a strong downwind wind, it was perfect for advanced surfers.

On Saturday, we had a level 4 school where we practiced close hold and running.

We also practiced rounding the upper and lower marks.

Pull the main sheet in quickly and learn to lift the head without expanding!

The wind feels heavy in the northeast.

The people on the starting course are also doing their best!

Next week is the Level 4 assessment.

There was also a training session for the RS All Japan Championships.

Although there are various types of boats, they all start on the same line.

We practiced two patterns: top and bottom sausages and triangles.

On Sunday, strong winds were forecast from the morning, and I was worried about what would happen.

Oh? It seems to be better than I thought!

The blows were heavy, but it was a good day for practice ♪

The juniors were also out in the ocean having a great time.

If you reef the sail and reduce the power, you can ride it alone!

Oops, it looks like it's going to sink due to a blow!

The wind picked up again in the afternoon, so I guess the conditions were pretty tough for those who had been riding every day.

thank you for your hard work!

And on Sunday we had a cruise and exercise.

While enjoying the cruise, you will also gradually acquire new skills.

We are preparing to sail towards Enoshima in the strong north wind.

Once you arrive safely at Enoshima, have lunch at Bunsa Shokudo.

On the way back, the wind was nice! Enoshima seemed smaller in the blink of an eye.

In October, Coastal Navigation

We are planning a Hota cruise for the training course. We will let you know how it goes!

And in the evening we saw a beautiful sunset.
