RSAero First Asian and Japan Championship was held

The first RSaero Asian Championship was held on July 5th and 6th off Morito Beach in Hayama, with 20 boats participating. There were many competitors from overseas, as well as Shimizu sailors who usually ride RS700s and RS500s.
This time, everyone participated in the Aero. From HSC, veteran sailors, juniors, and members who started sailing at HSC were also able to enjoy the two-day race!

This tournament was held with the support of TOTO and the cooperation of ASM Co., Ltd. and Trive Co., Ltd.

Hayama Genbei is also sponsoring the event, and the aero-colored flip-flops are quite cute!

Even if you didn't participate in the race, you can still purchase tickets. Please contact the club for more details!

The commemorative T-shirt features the Aero numbers 5, 6, and 7 lined up side by side on the back. You can also purchase this!

On the first day, the wind was blowing from the south and didn't pick up, so only one one-hour race was held!

There seems to be a big difference in running between the aero7 and 5!

HSC hopeful Suzuki will be competing in the Aero6.

Nakamizo of the Shimizu Yacht Association and aero7 racers runs at the fastest speed by far.

Sailor Roy from Ireland has retired from Aero and is now participating in Aero races all over the world!

This is July from Myanmar's fourth time riding an Aero and his first RS race!

The post-race party was filled with a variety of food from Mama's Kitchen and everyone seemed very satisfied!

Julie's from China and Hong Kong also enjoyed themselves!
On the second day, the wind shifted from north to south and picked up a little, and three races were held.

There was some close competition all over the Trapezoid course!
Four races were held over two days under the scorching hot sun.
Aero5's Takada is smiling after receiving Junior's symptoms.

Roy, who participated for the second time, won with aero6!

The Asian aero5 was Suzuki!

Nakamizo-san, who was by far the fastest in aero7, made us an aero keychain as a participation prize.

To all the players, organizers, jury members, kitchen staff, sponsors,
The Asian Championships were made possible thanks to the efforts of many people!

Thank you for your hard work. Let's take a good rest and practice again~
