On Saturday, the first day of the three-day Mountain Day holiday, there was plenty of sunshine and a gentle breeze, so everyone enjoyed going out to the beach♪
Checking the rigging with the B2 school instructor.
Adjust the sail control lines to suit the wind at that time.

Practice running close reaches and broad reaches by gradually increasing the angle from the beam.
How far should I pull the mainsheet?
If you trim while watching the sails and minimize the time when there is a backwind or when the boat is shivering, the boat speed will not drop.

There was also an RSaero training course.
Although the members usually ride Lasers, they commented that the Aero is more agile and transmits movements directly.
Practice hard and aim for the race!

Some people came to try sailing.
They enjoyed the day sailing in the morning and sea kayaking in the afternoon!

This is also the first time sailing for this person.
With the good weather and gentle wind, you must have been able to steer with confidence. ^^

There was also a double-handed workshop!
On this day, I performed the first of three sets, using RS200 and Feva.

I practiced by switching between the RSFeva and RS200.

We ran a long up-and-down course, and even used a gennaker in the afternoon!

On Sunday, it was pouring rain from the morning, but by the time we set sail it had stopped and at the same time the wind had picked up.
Can I practice before it really starts blowing?

To be extra careful, be sure to check your equipment multiple times on windy days.

S-chan, who usually rides an Aero7, was also riding a Tera Miler that day and the wind was just right!

When the wind blows, unexpected problems can occur.
It's difficult to deal with this on the water, so be sure to check carefully before setting sail!

The wind also picked up considerably, reaching an average of over 10 meters per second at one point.
We ended the practice on the sea early and reviewed the practice that can be done on land, how to review, and how to clean up.

After repairs, secure the mast with tape before threading the sail through.

Some children were worried about changing the tack grip, so we practiced how to move and change the tiller grip again.
Make sure you remember the key points and try it out in the ocean next time!

Although it was a three-day weekend, strong winds and high waves continued from Sunday on the final day, meaning that sea activities were suspended.
We will be open on Tuesday this week! We hope the conditions are good!
