October is supposed to be the best season for yachting because it's cool, but it hasn't been windy lately.
Everyone at Basic School is getting along well and more and more students are getting closer to graduating!
And on Sunday it was club racing! The race meeting was held on the beach with distance between the racers.
Although there was a light breeze, 18 boats participated and three races were held.
Mr. K from Sea Hopper had a great run!
The wind was weak, but I sometimes managed to put up the gennaker, and sometimes I couldn't.
However, even when the wind is weak, the speed at which the gennaker is raised is just as fast as when there is a fair wind!
First club race challenge with RSaero5. High school student S. I wish it could blow a little harder.
Mr. K from RSaero5 did a great job, coming in third place!
The winner was the pair of H and S on the RS500. It was great to see the powerful performance of these two former powerhouses from the yacht club.
Thanks to everyone who participated and to everyone who organized the event!
The next event will be the RS Japan Open on November 1st!!
