Miura Peninsula Tour

The weather forecast was for light clouds, no waves, and a light breeze!
We set off in perfect conditions.
This time, we will cross Akiya, Sashima, and Araki, and head for Moroiso Beach near the southern tip of the Miura Peninsula.
It's a two-day tour with plenty of time.

On Sashima Island, where beautiful villas line the coast, the marine blue sea stretches out before you.
We pass through a narrow strait and head to Odawa Bay.

Lunchtime at Araki.
You will carefully navigate the famous "Dondobiki" waterway while controlling your kayak.

In the distance, you can see Koajiro Bay. Seabornia welcomes you.
Once you get this far, you're almost there.
As you approach the open ocean, the seascape becomes wilder.

Thank you for your hard work on the long 17km journey!

Tonight's feast will feature a seafood bouillabaisse from southern France and Spanish octopus ajillo, giving you the feeling of the Mediterranean Sea in the distance.
And Caprese, which means "from the Island of Capri" in Italy.
Let's toast with some chilled white wine!

Ocean-going yachts return home after a race , far beyond the beautiful gradation of the sunset .

There's no end to the fun conversation that can be had during this relaxing and enriching time.

With my morning coffee in hand, I gaze out at the sea and think about today's itinerary.
Once you're ready, set sail into the morning calm!

We head towards Kameshiro Shoal Light Beacon.
This is a shallow area located 1.5 km off the coast of Araki.
The giraffe-like light beacon gently warns of danger.
The waves are usually rough, so you need luck to get close.

For lunch on the way back, we had freshly boiled pasta.
A superb time surrounded by a magnificent view.

This is a long, somewhat challenging course, but the experience will be useful for your future kayaking life.

Thank you for your hard work on the 34km round trip. Let's row again!
