It was a weekend where the cold winter weather returned with even a little snow!

Last weekend's warm weather was a lie, with snow forecast for Saturday and mid-winter cold.

Dry suits were still very useful this weekend.

Despite the weather, everyone at the school had fun!

There was a gentle wind in the morning, but if you weren't careful you could be sunk by the strong winds.

These are the two level 2 people.

When people at a similar level practice together, they compare their running style and try to imitate it.

It's a good practice ^^

There was a light snowfall along the way, but everyone worked hard despite the cold!

Even though it sank, I stayed on board without giving up!

It was a little windy on Sunday.

The juniors practiced reefing (reeling in the sail to reduce its surface area)! It's important to keep the reef from coming undone while out at sea. I hope everyone can do this.

The children also worked together to launch the boat.

Some children participated for the first time today.

First, let's get used to sailing with the instructor's guidance.

Winter winds fluctuate in strength and swings, so make sure you can spot the next blow and adapt to the changes!

There were times along the way when the wind died down and we were able to take a breather.

Today we mainly practiced single-handed boats, and everyone kept practicing without giving up even when the wind blew and they sank!

Huh? Before I knew it, I was running with the tiller!

Children can enjoy riding while playing!

There was also a racing seminar in the afternoon.

This will likely be the last cold winter we experience.

If you've been taking a break over the winter, isn't it time to get back to the beach? ^^
