Hello everyone.
The 2023 club racing qualifying season is underway!
The fourth round will be held in May.
However, this year's Golden Week was marked by severe weather every day.
Strong winds had been blowing particularly hard since the day before, putting the race itself in jeopardy.
After the skippers' meeting on the day, we decided to wait for a moment when the wind strength had subsided before holding the race.
The first race was set to a shorter time and we started to see how it went.
However, the boats of all the participants were more stable than expected, and the first race ended smoothly.
The first race ended on a good note,
For the second race, the marks were set longer.
As a result, the winds got a little stronger and boats started sinking!
It suddenly turned into a race for survival.
The winner of the race under such difficult conditions was Ken Sakai in the Aero 5!
He showed off his stable running!
congratulations!
Although there were only two races, it was a day where we were able to fully experience the thrill of racing. We look forward to your continued participation in the future.
