This is instructor Yamamoto!
Following on from April, we went on another Nagasaki cruise in November!
Although it's a little late, I'd like to share with you some of the cruising experiences.
This time it's a 3-day, 2-night cruise.
The first day starts at Huis Ten Bosch!
We crossed the Hariu Strait and headed to Pearl Sea Resort in Kujukushima.
The weather is nice and hot! Nagasaki is amazing!
Let's go!
Departing with Huis Ten Bosch behind us! It feels like we're not in Japan!
From here we head towards Hariu Strait.
Hariu Strait is a narrow strait that connects Omura Bay with the open sea.
Most of the seawater from Omura Bay flows in from here, and if you go to the strait at high tide, the difference in water level between the bay and the open sea makes the current flow incredibly fast, like a river.
Check the tide times in advance and plan your trip to pass through when the current is calm.
For more details, see the ISPA Day Skipper Course (lol)
Let's head to Hariu Strait!
It just seemed like a really good time, and there was no flow at all.
Passing through leisurely.
We entered (or left) Sasebo Bay??
Let's have lunch while the waters are calm in the bay.
I'm enjoying the braised pork buns I bought at Huis Ten Bosch.
Nagasaki specialty! Kakuni buns!
After eating and feeling refreshed, it's time to head out to the open sea!
Once we left Sasebo Bay and headed out to sea, the wind started to blow nicely!
Enjoy sailing to Kujukushima
We pass through the islands.
There are so many islands, it's hard to tell which is which...
We arrived at the marina without getting lost (lol).
Thank you for your hard work!
Go to the inn and relax.
Thank you very much for staying at Flags.
For dinner, we had Turkish rice at the nearby Kitchen Heartland!
Pasta is Italian, curry is Indian, tonkatsu is Chinese, and the area with rice is Turkish???
Thank you for the meal!
On the second day, we plan to take a leisurely cruise around the Kujukushima Islands.
We depart from Pearl Sea Resort and head to Mendaka Port, then stop at Takashima before returning to Pearl Sea.
It's a very calm morning.
The water surface is like a lake.
It's only about 9:00, but the sunlight makes it feel like early morning.
Because it's in the west, the sunrise time is later than in the Kanto region.
Passing between the islands and heading out to the open sea.
From here, we leisurely head towards Mendaka Port.
There is no wind, so we move forward using the engine.
Hmm, I'd like to do some more sailing.
Arrived at Mendaka Port.
It's a nice, relaxed place!
I had takeout sushi from Meijiya Sushi, located right near the port. Thank you very much.
After getting some sushi, we headed to our next destination, Takashima.
By noon, a nice breeze had started to blow.
Enjoy sailing to Takashima Port
Arrived at Takashima.
We're enjoying the sushi we got takeout at the port.
Luxury!
Chikuwa is a famous product of Takashima.
Due to time constraints, we were unable to leisurely tour the island this time.
It seems like you can even climb up to high places.
I'd like to come back again next time and take my time.
Now, back to Parsis!
The sun is starting to set.
We passed through the islands again and returned safely to Parsi.
Thank you for your hard work!
Pearl Sea Resort at dusk
Last day.
We left Pearl Sea Resort and had lunch at Funabanya.
We return to Huis Ten Bosch through Hariu Strait.
The final day is also very calm.
Farewell Kujukushima
However, the tide stops at 2:00 p.m. in Hariu Seto today.
If you go too early, you won't be able to get through, so have lunch and take it easy before you go.
On the way, we went to the restaurant "Umi no Eki Funabansho" which can be reached by boat.
You can park your yacht in front of the store.
Thank you for the meal.
Well.
It's a little early, but let's head to Hariu Strait.
The current seems a little fast, but let's go in...
What will happen?

Passed safely!
Now, we're back at Huis Ten Bosch!
I'm home!
2 nights and 3 days.
We were blessed with good weather and it was a wonderful cruise.
Thank you to everyone who participated.
