Float your kayak on the crystal clear waters of Lake Motosu and move quietly across the water.
Paddle gently to avoid splashing.
One of our goals for today is to visit and give thanks to Mount Fuji, which can be seen in the distance from Morito Beach.
Although the entire view of the majestic Mount Fuji was hidden, I was secretly excited by the sight of Mount Fuji occasionally peeking through the gaps in the blue sky and flowing clouds.
As we finished preparing dinner, a cold rain began to fall, but the warm conversations among everyone made the rain almost unnoticeable.
The cool air of Lake Motosu brought out the warmth of the bonfire.
Sometimes the smoke gets into my eyes and makes me cry.
This time, we had the honor of having a lively junior high school student join us, and his smile and energy livened up the atmosphere of the camp. As always, we owe it all to the cooperation of all the participants to have such a wonderful time.
Thank you very much.
The next day we went paddling early in the morning!
We paddled through the mystical morning mist. It was a paddling experience like no other. Mount Fuji was covered in clouds and we couldn't see its perfect shape, but we could feel the magnificent charm and breath of nature with our whole bodies.
Finally, I would like to thank everyone for the time we spent at Lake Motosu.
Next up: a tour of the ancient city of Kamakura!
Let's go see the history and scenery of Kamakura!
