Today we had a round trip tour from Morito to Araki.
The weather forecast predicts that the wind will gradually get stronger.
We set off an hour earlier than usual, and the challenge was to see how far we could get while it was calm. We took fewer breaks on the water than usual and continued to row slowly for long periods of time. Some participants commented that the tour was too early, but it could also be said that regular HSC tours are too relaxed.
This time, the only break on the way there was at sea to replenish fluids and nutrients.
However, thanks to the desperate (?) efforts of all the participants, we were able to cross Odawa Bay. Thank you very much. Considering the return journey, we decided to save the landing at Arashizaki for next time.
Let's leave it here and head to Sashima.
The lunch box I brought was delicious and left me full and full of energy. Thanks to that, we were able to paddle safely on the way back through the rough waves. After we arrived at Morito Beach and finished packing up, the wind started to pick up, so this was another lucky tour.
After we finished changing, our member R prepared some Tsumire soup for us.
It was a very comforting taste and I felt revived. Thank you, R-san, for your thoughtfulness.
Thanks to all the participants, we were able to form a great team on this tour.
We had a lot of fun too.
The next tour will be on Thursday, November 3rd (national holiday). Autumn is the season for seafood grilling! It's a "Seafood Tour"! We've reached capacity and are currently on a waiting list, but we appreciate your support!
