Hello, this is Hayama Sea Club.
Today I would like to write about the RS race being held at Hayama Sailing College.
This happened last week, on November 1st, the event was held successfully at Morito Beach in Hayama.
This has been publicized elsewhere, but I will also introduce it on this blog.
This year's event was held amid the COVID-19 pandemic, which made it somewhat difficult to actively mobilize participants nationwide. It seemed that some people had work-related reasons for not participating, and I've heard that some people were unable to attend due to work-related conflicts. However, this time, 29 boats (12 AEROs, 1 RS100, 1 RS200, 2 RS500s, 2 RS700s, 2 RSVAREOs, 1 RSFEVA, 3 RSQUBAs, 2 RSZESTs, and 3 RSTERAs) participated. While the RS800, which usually participates last year, did not compete this year, the event was a great success, with 10 boat types competing.
A diverse range of competitors, from elementary school students to those in their 60s, enjoyed the day of racing. It was a little disappointing that the wind was weak, but thanks to the AERO owners who were unable to participate this time and who kindly provided charter boats, a total of 12 boats, including the AERO5 and 7, gathered, and hopes are high that we may be able to aim for an All Japan Championship in the AERO class in the near future!
In particular, the image was posted on the UK RS AERO association website the next day, earlier than on the official website of the Japan RS Class Association (a boat classification organization under the JSAF). It is treated as an AERO archive in Japan! Please check below.

We currently have AERO5 and 7 in stock in Japan (we also have TERA in stock), and additional stock is expected to arrive in March (ZEST stock is also planned). Also, at this year's All Japan Championships, we have had a new AERO chartered, and we are offering a 10% discount on a one-time use boat.
