Hello, this is Hayama Sea Club.
This time, I'll be showing you around the Hayama Sea Club shop.
The roads around the shop are narrow. Please drive carefully! There is an irregular crossroads just in front of the shop. (From Google Maps)
*The Hayama Sea Club store is next to the white roofed Eirakuya (Japanese confectionery shop).
This irregular intersection (is that even a word?) is difficult to see through despite having mirrors, and is a school zone where small children also pass through, and yachts from university yacht clubs also cross... please be careful when passing through!
Also, and this is quite common, there is a pedestrian crossing sign on the road leading to the Hayama Imperial Villa in front of the shop. Perhaps because this sign is closer to the cars than usual, we see people getting hit by pedestrians several times a month. (> <) Please be sure to check your mirrors and be careful!
Many of the roads in Hayama are narrow, so please drive slowly and be considerate of others!
This may be a bit of a stretch, but marine sports also involve dealing with nature, so I think it's important to be mindful of your every day preparations. Please check your boat and equipment before setting out, and remember to always have rescue equipment on hand, so please check again. Regular maintenance and inspections also help prevent unexpected accidents.
- Smartphones are now commonplace and are an essential all-purpose companion, but you'll need a waterproof case/bag when near water.
- For kayaks, we also recommend paddle stoppers, spare paddles , bilge pumps , and sea anchors and paddle floats for fishing.
We look forward to seeing you all!
