Did you know that every year during Golden Week and in October, universities belonging to the Kanto Student Yacht Federation gather in Hayama to hold yacht races?

This year, the Kanto Student Yacht Federation finals were held off Morito Beach in Hayama during the latter half of Golden Week.

The overall results are as follows. The list includes universities that are well known to many of you.

Many of our HSC staff and members are former members of the Kanto Student Yacht Federation (also known as Gakuren).

Starting this week, the students have returned to their respective training camps, so there are fewer students around Morito Beach.

Mount Fuji made a beautiful appearance today, and under the beautiful May sky, many people were seen enjoying sailing off the coast of Hayama.

If you're interested in sailing, please feel free to come and visit us. This season, before the rainy season, is the perfect time to start sailing.
