The three-day weekend

Hello.
I'm Yamamoto, your instructor.

There were lots of events during last week's three-day weekend!
A cruiser school and beginners' race were held.

Cruiser School is the second ISPA Competent Crew Course, where you can learn crew work and become an excellent crew member!

After reviewing the basics of raising and lowering sails and how to launch and launch the boat, the focus this time was on practicing rescuing people who have fallen overboard.

Practice what to do in an emergency so that you won't panic when the time comes.

In addition to rescuing people who have fallen overboard while the boat is propelled by engine power, we also handle situations where people fall overboard while sailing.
We also practiced how to search for someone who had fallen and we had lost sight of them.

After practice, we'll enjoy sailing in good winds!

We will continue holding the school next week.
There's a lot to remember, but let's do our best!

This time, the beginners' race was held in the afternoon after the junior school was held in the morning.

There were many participants continuing from junior school, making the race a high proportion of junior sailors.

It turned into a Tera and Feva showdown between people of the same generation.

They put up a close battle that would put adults to shame!

By competing like this, you will improve more and more - I'm looking forward to the future!

There are no major events next week, but the Cruiser School I mentioned earlier will be held.

In April, we will be holding the first event of the 2022 RS GEMEs season, "RS GAMEs Spring Championship 1."
