There's only one month left in 2022! The final club race of the year was held on a sunny day with northerly winds of 3-5m/s and 20 boats taking part.
To all those who participated in the RS Japan Open, let's improve our skills in the races!
Instructor F also participated.
First time participating in a club race! Emi from RSTera. Let's do our best to finish the race!
We are planning to have four races, so we will start while the north wind is stable!
Although there were some recalled boats, RSaero7 led the fleet, followed by aero5 and LaserRadial.
The second race was also stable in the north, so we started quickly. Taro in RSaero5 was constantly closing in on aero7 and showing good performance.
Naitou, who is aiming to win the year, also had an accident but managed to get back on pace.
From the third race, the wind shifted sharply to the east, and the start was restarted, with the race not being very stable.
Aero7, Nakao and Sakai finished far ahead of the other boats.
There was still a good wind blowing, so the wind shifted slightly back north for the following fourth race, making for a good race.
Yamamoto Ken! Aero7 finished in first place in all three races.
Four races were successfully completed, with one cut race remaining. The winner for December 2012 was Tarou, a third-year junior high school student from RSaero5! He was ranked first in all three races!
It was an undisputed victory!
And the overall winner of Hayama Sailing Club for 2022 was Sakai!
Congratulations! We asked the winners to write their names and messages on the cup. "Let the wind teach us in 2023!" Such a humble message.
The January 2023 club race will be on Sunday, January 8th!
