RS ALL JAPAN was held successfully on November 1, 2020. For the first time, we were able to take drone images of the race off Hayama Morito Beach. We had to change the batteries of the two drones every few minutes while we filmed the race. It was difficult to film as it was my first time on the ocean surface and I was not familiar with the race course. As it was also a tourist destination, we were careful to apply for filming, and we asked the photographers to refrain from filming on the beach as much as possible, so we mainly filmed above the water.
Unfortunately, the wind gradually died down from the first race at 11am, and there was a period of calm as the wind shifted from north to south for the third race, making it difficult to capture impressive images. Thank you to Mr. Sano for your support with the photography. The images shown are from the second and third races. Enjoy!
