Bonfire tour on a warm day

It was a Saturday with perfect weather for sea kayaking!

The temperature is rising, so it doesn't seem like a good day for a bonfire.

Let's get started.

Unlike the quiet Morito Beach, Chojazaki was surprisingly windy.

There are lots of potatoes sitting in the Dutch oven.

The lunch menu is spicy curry.

Onions sautéed for an hour contain lots of spices.

Once our stomachs had settled, the sweet potatoes were ready and beautifully colored.

It's very soft and perfect as a dessert.

We found a nice log to sit on and enjoyed an early spring bonfire tour.

There was a surprising amount of wind, so we warmed ourselves up by the bonfire before heading home!

The total distance paddled on the bonfire tour was 9.28 kilometers!

The next tour will be on Saturday, April 8th, and we will be paddling around Koajiro Forest.
