■Product Description
ZEAK's semi-dry wetsuits are simple wetsuits with a waterproof back zipper. They are durable and long-lasting because they don't have inner necks, barriers, or flaps that are prone to damage. They can be worn just like a regular full suit.

The back zipper has a wide opening, making it easy to put on and take off your wetsuit. You will especially appreciate the comfort when taking off your wetsuit immediately after coming out of the water. Furthermore, you can keep only your upper body naked (down to your waist), which is useful when taking a short break.

The exterior of the wetsuit is made entirely of nylon jersey fabric (knitted), which is stretchy and durable, and does not require the same care as skins (rubber). The weakness of nylon fabric, which is that it loses body heat due to evaporation, is solved by making the neoprene rubber inside 6mm thick.

The inside is made of a heat-retaining material called "Warm Base." By mixing graphite powder into the threads that make up the fabric, this material absorbs heat from the body and stores it for a long time. Its effectiveness has been proven through heating tests (demonstration experiments).

■Specifications・Japan Fit The fabric is cut and sewn based on a pattern that takes into account the body shape of Japanese people. We have created a wetsuit that fits the body shape of Japanese people, which is characterized by a long torso and short limbs.

・3D design: The 3D design takes into account the contours of the body that cannot be captured on a flat surface. The design follows the contours of the body, allowing the wetsuit to perform at its best.

-Motion pattern: The pattern does not place stitching on moving parts of the body to prevent loss of mobility, reducing the strain on the body when wearing a wetsuit.

Flexform: Made with stretchy CR neoprene rubber to accommodate water sports such as surfing, which require intense body movement. Its low density and lightweight fabric makes it ideal for water sports.


■Details・Limited Seam Design A design with as few seams as possible. Seams are a major cause of water leakage and can lead to damage. Furthermore, wetsuits with many seams hinder the natural elasticity of the neoprene (rubber). ZEAK semi-drysuits eliminate all fashionable seams (stitches) that are not related to functionality.

Neck piping: The edges around the neck are covered with a tight-fitting skin material (piping) to minimize gaps. The piping is cushioned, preventing water from seeping in while providing a comfortable fit around the neck without any pressure.

・Shield cuffs: By covering the tips of both wrists with a highly adhesive skin material, gaps around the wrists are filled and water is prevented from seeping in. The skin material prevents water absorption and maintains heat retention. However, while it may feel uncomfortable when putting on or taking off a wetsuit, it has the added benefit of maintaining heat retention, making it an essential piece of equipment for semi-dry suits worn in the middle of winter.

The knee pads are made with highly abrasion-resistant Supratex fabric. Unlike traditional printed pads, there's no need to worry about them peeling off. The mesh-like surface fabric provides high friction resistance, providing excellent stability when placing your knees on the board.

Velcro rest: "Velcro" allows you to adjust the tightness around your neck. When putting on or taking off a wetsuit, the Velcro can stick to the fabric and damage it. To prevent this, we have included a Velcro rest. When putting on or taking off your wetsuit, temporarily attach the Velcro to the red loop side (the rest).

The waterproof back zipper uses a PASKAL S-LOCK zipper with waterproof properties. This zipper is coated with PU (polyurethane) for increased airtightness and is flexible and supple. It prevents water from seeping in through the zipper. Open and close the slider slowly. If the zipper won't close, it may not be the right size. Do not force it closed; check the size again. After use, wash thoroughly with fresh water, air dry, and store in a place that prevents the zipper from bending.

Easy entry: Instead of using 6mm fabric around the ankles, we use a thinner 4mm fabric to make the opening easier to open, allowing for smooth entry and exit. This allows even children and those unaccustomed to putting on and taking off thick wetsuits to easily get their feet in and out.

・Neoprene 6mm
The neoprene thickness of ZEAK's semi-dry wetsuits is 6mm in the body and 4mm in the arms. Compared to typical semi-dry wetsuits (5x3mm), this neoprene is about 1mm thicker. Neoprene, an important factor in determining a wetsuit's warmth, acts like an insulator, so the thicker it is, the less the outside temperature is transmitted to the inside. Furthermore, the 6mm thickness prevents a drop in body temperature due to evaporative cooling, even if the wetsuit's outer fabric is nylon (jersey material).

・Super stretch
ZEAK's semi-dry wetsuits feature a highly stretchable "super stretch" outer fabric, preserving the inherent flexibility of neoprene rubber. Semi-dry suits typically have exposed neoprene rubber (skin/rubber) on the outside, without a nylon (jersey) outer layer, requiring careful handling. Using your fingernails or grabbing too hard when putting on or taking off the suit can easily cause cuts or tears. Furthermore, skin/rubber adhesives are poorly bonded, making the bond between the fabrics prone to peeling. ZEAK's semi-dry wetsuits feature a completely nylon (jersey) outer layer, eliminating the need for careful handling and making maintenance easy. Due to their durability, they are even used in mid-winter surfing schools.

・Warm base
The lining of ZEAK's semi-dry wetsuits uses a heat-retaining material called "Warm Base." Another major feature is that because the surface area exposed to air is large, it dries quickly compared to regular nylon fabrics.
