Basic Course
Target Audience: Beginners and experienced sailors
A step-up system from Levels 1 to 3 allows you to progress at your own pace.
The Basic Course is divided into levels 1 to 3. You can take lessons at a level appropriate for your experience. If you are new to sailing, please sign up for the Start Course.
Learn all the basics of operating a sailboat with one-on-one instructor supervision. On days with light winds, you will also practice sailing solo.
Assuming light winds, practice sailing solo by applying what you learned in Level 1, focusing on sailing in comfortable directions. You will also learn how to rig the sailboat, as well as how to depart and dock.
Gain the knowledge and experience needed for solo sailing, including practice in sailing upwind and downwind, and how to safely launch and return to shore. You will progress to the next stage upon receiving instructor approval for each course. Upon completion of Level 3, club members will be eligible to use club boats.

- You can attend as many times as you like. The content progresses according to your level. Depending on age and physical fitness, it often takes about 20 sessions to reach the end of Level 3.
- For those aiming to complete the Basic Course, becoming a club member is recommended, as it allows you to use club boats after completion.
- Lessons are conducted in groups of 2 or 3, but each person will use their own boat.
- Rest assured that an instructor will accompany you on board if the wind is strong.
- Please select a date marked in black on the calendar using the reservation form below, and choose a time from the dropdown menu. You cannot select times where the remaining capacity is 0.
- After submitting your application, you will receive an official confirmation of your reservation from HSC.
- While credit card payment is requested upon booking, your card will only be charged once the reservation is officially confirmed.

Please contact us at least 3 days before your scheduled date for any date changes. There is no cancellation fee for cancellations due to bad weather. Rescheduled dates are valid for 3 months from the original date (rescheduling across different fiscal years is not permitted).

クラブハウスに集合です。受付を済ませたら着替えて準備をして下さい。ご希望の方はレンタルウェアがあります。

艤装＆ミーティング
ベーシックコースのカリキュラムをインストラクターから詳しくご説明します。ヨットの艤装も覚えていきましょう。艤装のミスは海上でトラブルになるので、出艇前にはもう一度確認をしましょう。
※ベーシックは1,2,3と続きます。スタート時間が変更になる場合がございます。その場合は個別にご連絡させて頂きます。
出艇
ヨットの出艇、着艇はとても大切です。インストラクターがサポートをしますので、なるべく1人でやってみましょう。風向、波の様子を見ながら、正しい手順を覚えていきましょう。
スクール内容：レベル１～ビームリーチを1人で走る～
インストラクターにボートでついてもらってアドバイスをもらいながらビームリーチを1人で走ってみましょう。風が少し強い日は同乗しますのでご安心ください。
スクール内容：レベル２～風上風下へ走る～
ビームリーチを安定して走れるようになったらもう少し風上に近い方向、風下へ向かう練習をします。セールを調節したり舵を操作するのは最初は大変ですが、慣れてくればスムーズに行えるようになりますよ。
スクール内容：レベル３～安全に一人でセーリングするために～
グループでセーリングをしてより風上に近い角度で走ったり、１人で海に出ても困らないように、安全を確保できるエリアの確認、沈起こしなども学んでいきます。
何回も練習をしましょう
風がわかるようになってきて、セーリングに自信がついてくるとハイクアウトもできるようになってきます。ますますセーリングが楽しくなってきますね。

クラブハウスに戻りましょう。今日のレッスンの復習と次回の課題を説明します。わからないことはインストラクターにどんどん質問してみてください。
