ISPA Competent Crew Course

For those who want to learn cruiser sailing seriously

The ISPA Competent Crew Course teaches the knowledge and skills you need to act safely as a member of a crew,
with the aim of reaching a level where you can take over from the skipper in an emergency.

Over three days of instruction, you will learn the skills to handle a sailboat under 40 feet safely in good weather.

The hsc club also offers cruising opportunities.
After completing the course, we hope you will keep joining cruises and build your experience at sea.

Skills to handle a sailboat under 40 feet safely in good weather
You will learn the basic actions, judgment and emergency response needed as a crew member.

■ Who can join (experienced sailors)

• People who understand which direction a yacht sails relative to the wind (wind direction and sailing direction)
• People who want to learn the basics of cruiser sailing
