RS CAT16 (Cat 16)
A professional-grade catamaran that families can enjoy at their leisure and with the speed of sailing.
The RSCAT16 is the first catamaran in the RS series. Simple, easy to handle, and highly durable, the RS CAT16 is ideal for sailing with club friends or family. Because the bow and stern of the hull are not in contact with the water, tack turns are quicker and easier to maneuver than on a regular catamaran, making it a popular choice among monohull sailors. It offers the performance of a racing boat while also being highly recreational, making it a dinghy that more people can enjoy sailing.

Enjoy the speed with the gennaker
The RSCAT16 XL comes with a spin function, which combines the stability of a catamaran with the speed of a spin, creating a feeling that is hard to find with a monohull, making it perfect for family sailing.

Easy fitting! Easy sailing!
Using a 17mm ratchet wrench, fitting is possible from a disassembled state. If the hull can be left assembled, the mast can be raised and the sail can be ready in 5 to 10 minutes.

The hull is made of three layers of polyethylene. It can be moved by two people!
The beachable polyethylene construction makes launching and landing a hassle-free boat perfect for casual sailing. Designed by Jo Richards and the RS team, it's innovative and hugely popular.
