About the sea kayak "Hiyori"

- It has neither too much straight-line performance nor too easy to turn (it has enough speed for long trips, and has agile turning performance when riding in waves, in rock gardens, or when avoiding danger).
- Stability should be neither too much nor too little (so that the boat does not rock too much in the waves, but also so that anyone can ride it comfortably and safely).
・High safety and durability are pursued by using glass fiber and epoxy resin instead of standard boats. (Lightweight model using epoxy cable carbon fiber is also available.)

The prototype and model ship for Hiyori is a boat (Zasa) for schools and short tours that I designed nearly 20 years ago. Hundreds of boats have been produced so far, and all of them are still in active use.
When building the new touring sea kayak (Hiyori), we made many changes, such as making it slightly longer than the Zasa, providing a larger cargo area, making the cockpit larger, and changing the material from polyester to vinyl ester.
However, we took great care in finishing the product so as not to damage the good points of the original model.
As a result, we have created a boat that can be used for a wide range of sea kayaking scenes, with comfortable touring performance at fairly high speeds, wave performance, and leisure performance for fishing, making it a boat that will satisfy you for a long time.
I am convinced that the more you ride it, the more you use it, and the more you improve, the more you will grow to love it.
