★A visit to Inage Yacht Harbor in Chiba, where the Quest and Zest will debut as rental boats this spring★
Inage Yacht Harbor, which previously operated five RS Vison boats as rental boats, has adopted six RS Quest boats and three RS Zest boats as new rental boats this spring.

Inage Yacht Harbor was the venue for the 77th National Athletic Meet Ichigo Ichie and Tochigi National Athletic Meet sailing competitions, which were held until October 5th. I visited about a week after the National Athletic Meet sailing competitions ended.

The Quest and Zest have been a huge success as family boats and training boats for enjoying the sea at many clubs in the UK, Australia, and New Zealand. We've heard that Inage Yacht Harbor introduced them as new rental boats this spring and has been extremely well-received. We visited them to test drive the rental boats and report on their current status. The introduction of the Quest, the successor to the existing Vision boat, and the double-handed Zest, with their spacious decks and stable sailing, has made the harbor even more enjoyable for renting boats and has been well-received. If you'd like to try a Quest or Zest, please contact Inage Yacht Harbor.

If you are using a rental boat, you must first take the Sailing Skill Assessment held once a month. If you pass, you will receive a certificate of completion and be able to use a rental boat. Proper boat handling skills are required when launching and landing at Inage Harbor. In summer, strong southerly winds create swells, so you will need to return to port by running. In winter, continuous tacking is likely necessary when returning to the harbor, which is directly overhead. First, try the skill assessment and have fun. Set sail with a Quest or Zest and enjoy the joy of sailing in Tokyo Bay.
Rental fee for a full day of fun

We will continue to work towards expanding our service nationwide! Our goal is to enable as many people as possible to enjoy the seas around us in Japan, a country surrounded by the sea, in a safe and secure environment.
