Single-handed gennaker hike-out boats Vareo and Zest were also active on Lake Biwa. In recent years, several boats, including the aforementioned RS700, Aero7, Feva XL, and Tera, have been active in Miho, Shizuoka Prefecture, and have traveled to participate in the All Japan Championships.
Furthermore, last year in Shimoda, a French person who resumed sailing, a sport he enjoyed as a child, has been doing very well at Quba.
Last fall, a double-handed gennaker hike-out boat, the RS200, was also enjoyed sailing in Shinminato, Toyama Prefecture.

Also this year, the latest Aero7 has been put into the water in Ginowan, Okinawa, and people are starting to enjoy sailing. And at the end of last month, in April, RS Quest also began operations at Mikuni Yacht Harbor in Fukui Prefecture, located next to Tojinbo.
